1 June: Google is starting the TOPICS API trial on 1st July:

3 June – Google will show the title of pages in which the language content is written. –

In order to better show title links for pages with multilingual or transliterated (scripted) titles, Google revealed that it had made an algorithmic tweak. In other words, if your title tag does not accurately reflect the same language of the content of the page, Google will update it to match the content of the page. When titles are multilingual or transliterated, our computers may look for alternatives that correspond to the main language of the page. This is why it’s recommended to use a title that matches the language and/or script of the page’s primary content.

14 June – Google launched text link ads called “Shopping Links” –
